Fall Foliage Tour (Hard Cider Tasting in Dining Class)

The Cider Tasting is only in Dining Class on this excursion. Dining Class is the Dining Car, Lounge Car, and the Beaver Car. Must be 21+.

Enjoy a beautiful Fall afternoon at the Colebrookdale Railroad, sampling delicious hard ciders, paired with a fantastic charcuterie board that is paired perfectly with each cider while being with friends! This train ride features a curated selection of Frecon’s finest ciders from the Everyday and Estate lines. Take in the fall foliage during an hour-and-a-half train ride.

Cidre Cherry
Featuring a blend of Gold Rush as a dominant apple and Balaton Cherries with a nice bubbly taste. GLUTEN FREE!

Scrumpy
This batch of Scrumpy features a diverse blend of unselected cider apples from England and the US. The apples in this blend are Dolgo Crab, Gold Rush, Kingston Black, Ashmeads Kernel, Yarlington Mill, Wickson Crab, Roxbury Russet, Winesap, Northern Spy, Golden Russet, and Golden Delicious!
Grown and Harvested in 2017 in the Piedmont region of Pennsylvania. GLUTEN FREE!

Crabby Granny
A strong cider blended with lots of traditional crab apples, Granny Smith & Winesap, then balanced with sweet desert and aromatic apples. Tartness up front with wildflower and clover honey to provide a smooth finish. Bottle conditioned for a light effervescence. GLUTEN FREE!

Cidre Sweet
A blend of mostly modern apples, apple juice and sugar cane with a nice bubbly taste of sweetness. GLUTEN FREE!
Each Cider will be paired with carefully selected food items.

First Class (Parlor Car): Passengers in the First-Class Parlor car will receive a complimentary beverage, a champagne toast, an hors d’oeuvres plate and dessert. Drinks and light fare are also available for purchase throughout the train from our à la carte menu. The first-class cars are reserved for ages 13+.

Coach Class (Coach Car): Passengers in the Coach class cars can enjoy our light-fare à la carte menu with delicious seasonal snacks and beverages as no meals are served.

This is a 90-minute excursion departing from Boyertown.

Train operates rain or shine unless otherwise noted. Please Note, our ADA-accessible car wis currently not available.
