EBGX #7236
Locomotive No. 7236 was built by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors in October of 1959 as a GP9 for the Pennsylvania Railroad. It served as a freight engine, and was part of the Penn Central merger 1968. Once Conrail took over the Penn Central in 1976, 7236 was part of the “GP10 conversion program” at the Paducah shops in 1979 where it received electrical and mechanical upgrades and was renumbered to locomotive No. 7587. 7236 was then sold into private service, and worked in a rock quarry for many years. 7236 arrived to the Colebrookdale Railroad on January 19th, 2016, received a fresh paint job, and it’s dedication ceremony took place in May of 2016 and has proudly served us ever since.

EBGX #5128
Locomotive No. 5128 was built by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors for the Southern Railway in January of 1974 and was assigned to the Georgia Southern and Florida, subsidiary of the Southern Railway, and when the GSF dissolved, it served on various freight trains on the Southern Railway. 5128 was repainted in 1987 when the Norfolk and Western and Southern merger commenced. 5128 continued to pull freight trains, mostly in Indiana and Illinois towards the end of it’s time on Norfolk Southern. 5128, unlike many other similar high-hoods, was never set up to be a remote-control unit, or received an Admiral cab. 5128 was offered for auction in 2017. 5128 arrived to the Colebrookdale Railroad September of 2017 thanks to the generosity of the Scott and Susan Bentley fund.
Plymouth MDT-6 – No. 9
Our Plymouth was built by the Plymouth Locomotive Works in 1964 in Plymouth, Ohio. It might be small, but sure is mighty. It shifts freight cars down in our transload yard. No. 9 was donated by NRG Energy of Princeton, New Jersey in July of 2014. It was the Titus Generating Station’s shifting locomotive for many years.

Pullman Loretto II- Charles Schwab’s private car
The Loretto 2 was built by Pullman in 1917 for steel tycoon Charles M. Schwab, at an original cost of $150,000. It is fully furnished and included a private dining room, sitting room, galley, and a servant’s area. Charles Schwab used the car to travel between Loretto, PA and New York. After it’s life in service, it was at the McGee Transportation Museum, and then moved to the Railroader’s Memorial Museum in Altoona. Unfortunately, the Loretto fell victim to a fire in 1983 in the car’s interior. The Loretto was moved to the Colebrookdale Railroad January 31st 2024 and is currently undergoing immediate restoration.
