Passengers board at the Colebrookdale Railroad Station in Boyertown at 1:30 PM and travel aboard our historic train to Memorial Park in Pottstown. There, chartered buses will carry you directly to the Pottstown Transit Center, parking along Hanover Street in a restricted traffic area adjacent to the display site. A short walk across the street brings you face to face with the locomotive.
Passengers will have approximately 15 minutes, from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM, to view Big Boy 4014, take photographs, and stand beside one of the most celebrated machines in railroading history. At 3:35 PM, guests reboard the buses for the return to the train and the journey back to Boyertown. We ask all passengers to be prompt when reboarding so the excursion remains on schedule.
*Note: Colebrookdale Railroad will keep ticketed passengers appraised of any schedule changes as Union Pacific announces them.
